It comes with a remote control and has both automatic and remote modes:
Automatic Mode: The light turns on automatically each night and turns off when daylight is detected, to enable recharging.
Remote Mode: The remote control will override the Automatic mode to switch the light on and off as required. The remote can reach as far away as 30+ meters and has a protective cover to prevent accidental pressing of the buttons.
